Job satisfaction is one of the most important things for all employees. People search for reputed organizations to start their carrier as a dream. Some people move from a job to another job due to dissatisfaction with the current job or organization. Employee turnover is not just a fact that they leave but makes a critical impact on the organization’s growth too (Arokiasamy, 2013). Job satisfaction is how people feel about what they do, but what is the exact satisfaction that people looking for?

There are popular indicators used to determine job satisfaction, they are pay, promotions, fringe benefits, job conditions, supervision, members work with, security and nature of the work (Spector, 2006).

As sown in this figure Macey and Schneider, (2008) presented a new framework about three elements of the employee engagement,

When it comes to Sri Lankan context, most of the organizations work on how to satisfy their employees. Highly people engaged organizations like MAS Holding have this challenge more than the others. In MAS, employees will get quite a good remuneration package, that has included high basic salary, bonus, and incentives for attendance and efficiency, overtime payments and two bonus payments annually and annual pay increments. The working facilities as air-conditioned environment, free and friendly management with low hierarchies and free meals break for every two hours during the work, Free transport services and free hostel facilities for members of all categories have given the satisfaction to work.

Facilities for employees dreams also given a helping hand on how to save more, improve individual’s education, buy a new vehicle, start a new business and become a good entrepreneur, build your own house and send your parents to Dhambadiwa tour in India is some of them. Empowering the ladies’ community like “Go Beyond Women” and “Abhimani” have helped more than the people expected from doing a job. Entertainment facilities as weekly Sumba, Music classes have helped the people to be more satisfied throughout the stay in the organization.
